Water Update: Fry Road MUD’s Independent Water System Operating within Parameters

Fry Road MUD’s water infrastructure is not tied to Houston or Katy water systems. Fry Road has an independent water system that is operating within parameters and is not currently under water restrictions.

Fry Road MUD’s operator is closely monitoring the system and will let residents know via the website and text alerts if the situation changes.

Due to the sustained heat during daylight hours, it is suggested to water lawns when it is dark outside, either late in the evening or early in the morning, to an inch depth, every couple of days. This can be measured by using an empty tuna can or other small, inch-tall container to measure the amount of water distributed by your sprinklers.

Completed: Water Main Repair

The repair of the water main at Fort Bridger Drive is complete.

Crews are restoring the area and flushing the water lines to ensure water quality.

If you experience poor water quality, please flush your home’s pipes for 10 minutes. If poor water quality persists, or if your water pressure is not restored, please call Inframark at (281) 579-4500.

Water Main Repair

A Fry Road MUD water main has broken at Fort Bridger Drive.

Repair crews have been dispatched to address the issue. Once the water main is accessed, water service will be interrupted to homes and businesses in the vicinity.

Fry Road MUD and Inframark will work to restore pressure as quickly and safely as possible. If you are experiencing a water outage outside of the above mentioned area, please contact Inframark at (281) 579-4500 to report your water outage. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Community Meeting on June 2, 2022

Kent Clingerman, from the Harris County Precinct 4 community assistance department, discussed the services provided by Precinct 4 at the June 2, 2022 Fry Road MUD community meeting. He emphasized that Precinct 4 constituents are important. He commented that Precinct 4 can communicate with their constituents in many different languages as well as provide general assistance to the community. The following is taken from their website:

New Trash Provider

Trash pickup will move to Monday and Thursday beginning next week. Recycling will be on Thursdays. The new provider is Best Trash.

USA Trash is dissolving their business on June 25th.

Community Meeting

Kent Clingerman with the Precinct 4 Community Assistance Department will be in attendance at the June 2nd 6 PM Fry Road MUD Community Meeting to speak and answer questions. He will briefly go over Harris County Precinct 4 road and bridge services, area parks and community centers, nearby Precinct 4 events and nearby county road construction projects. Precinct 4 is the purplish area on the map below. He will be happy to answer any questions he can and if needed take work orders for the area.
